Blocks

Yeesh, I have had so much going on and am way far behind in posting pictures.  Last week we were away from home for a couple of days on a little mini vacation to Minneapolis and then we worked on a couple of house projects over the weekend with my mom and dad, so my computer time was limited.  I do have pictures to post though!


When Tristan is playing, he plops his little butt down anywhere.  It never seems to matter what he sits on. Here it is his blocks...earlier tonight he sat on his teddy bear with no concern at all.

Cirque Du Soleil

Last night Adam and I went to Cirque Du Soleil - it was so incredible, as it  always is! Most of the time Adam is a rule follower, so he made me put my phone away quickly and would only let me take a couple of pictures --- without a flash.  He was sure I was going to get us kicked out before the show even started.

After we put Tristan to bed tonight, we went back in to check on him and found him standing up looking ever so proud of himself.

Coffee & Cardinals

On Friday after work I met Adam for a cup of coffee. Kind of strange to meet for a cup of coffee AFTER work I know.  It was probably the first time I have ever done that!

Afterwards we were met by this pretty little bird in our yard.  Earlier in the week a large crow broke my bird feeder down from the tree. There must have been some suet left that brought the cardinal in.  I suspect it is the same one that visits my bird feeder every summer.  We were in the house when he arrived and I just had a prime lens on my camera.  I quickly switched to a zoom lens and snapped the picture through my living room window.  I would have preferred a crisper, more detailed photo, but I will take what I can get.....especially when the bird was so patient with me while I was switching lenses! :)

Black & Purple

Thursday night after work I met with Dakota to select his prom tux...prom is next Saturday.  Yep, that was the last minute....but, we were told it will arrive in time.  The amount of accessories that are available with a tux rental is crazy, but kind of fun.  --You can even get hats with feathers or shiny fluorescent chucks for shoes !  Dakota opted out of the hat with feathers -----and the shiny shoes.

Bike Trails

Adam's bike finally shipped in on Tuesday.  He had ordered it some time ago and was anxiously awaiting its arrival....then the bike finally came in and he did not have the "special" shoes that attach to the pedals so it was another day of waiting.  Nevertheless we were able to have it all put together on Wednesday and go for a bike ride.  Lucky for us nice weather arrived with the bike, so we were able to enjoy it!
