Tristan's New Bike

We gave Tristan his new bike as an early Easter present. On this night it was finally warm enough out to take it for a spin around the neighborhood.

........and Morgan came along for the ride.

It's Saturday, It's Saturday

Tristan loves to cook. He also loves cooking gadgets like waffle irons and blenders. He spends hours making us soup, cookies, noodles and pie. I don't know if his love of cooking will stick with him, but for the moment he finds his happiest moments on the floor of our kitchen.

Here's Morgan riding around on her car - this was a birthday present. She climbs on and off and gets rides from her big brother every so often.

She also has a four-wheeler from Lexie that is a favorite toy too.

Tristan was helping me clean and had his very own spray bottle and a pot holder for a towel.

Our New Happy Morgan

It took awhile for Morgan to be consistently smiley and happy.  She finally smiles the majority of the time and laughs and seems to be enjoying life and will even let me put her down to play with toys for longer than five seconds at a time.

Standing Up and Wagon Rides

Morgan stood up at daycare today. Bittersweet moments. My baby is growing up.

And we went for a walk after dinner. It was also the first time I actually witnessed Morgan and Tristan playing together. Tristan was tickling Morgan and she was laughing away.

An Extra Day

Our daycare was closed today so I was able to spend an extra special day with Tristan and Morgan.

First, we went to the zoo while we were waiting for Adam to wake up.

Here Morgan was playing with some toys in the house.  The little bear is her favorite toy right now.

After Adam woke up we played in the yard.

Feeding the Birds

Tristan loves birds (he says bird-ey) lately so we went to Park Point - with a loaf of bread in hand to find a few seagulls. Now we all know the rule - don't feed the seagulls, but we break rules sometimes.

Even though we fed the birds and then went to the Green Mill to pick up cheeseburgers, it really was kind of a night filled with apprehension - before we left home, I received a call from the doctors office stating that Tristan's led screening test came back with really high numbers.  We were nervous and scared and more than a little bothered by it for the remainder of the evening.  Luckily Adam was able to bring Tristan in for another screening the next day and the results came back just fine, so the test ended up being a false positive. Thankfully.
